Frances June Enman

Portland Frances J. Enman, 90, died on July 29, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born on June 30, 1926, in Portland, a daughter of Arthur and Annie (Goodwin) Pressey. Frances married Clarence Enman in Portland in 1948. She worked at American Can manufacturing company and Natural Biscuit. After her husbands death in 1966, she started working as a nurses aid on private duty as a companion. She also worked at Hillside Nursing Home in South Portland. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Tiger Woods play golf. She enjoyed latchwork as well as collecting penguins. She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Enman; sisters, Ada Ousler, Dorothy Lamb, and Florence LaBerge. She is survived by sister, Grace Rice and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A Funeral service will immediately follow at the chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
