SOUTH PORTLAND - Patricia Marie Dodd, 77, of South Portland, died Monday December 16, 2013 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. Patricia was born in Portland a daughter of Paul Nason and Mary Barry. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Holy Ghost School of Nursing of Boston, Massachusetts. Patricia worked as a LPN at the Osteopathic Hospital for 20 years. She then accepted a position as a surgical technician for Dr. Jerry Cole. Patricia retired from the Energy Workshop which specialized in physical therapy about 10 years ago. Patti loved being surrounded by her family and friends and she was the life of any gathering. She especially enjoyed parties around her pool on Fessenden Ave. While Patricia was mostly a homebody she enjoyed trips throughout New England with her close friend Nonie. She was predeceased by a sister Margaret Gilbert. Survivors include her four sons, Stephen M. Dodd of Biddeford, Timothy D. Dodd and wife Lita of South Portland, Thomas I. Dodd and wife Janet of North Swazey, NH, Clement P. Dodd of South Portland; a sister Susan Harkins and husband Donald of Portland; a twin brother Joseph Barry of Virginia; six grandchildren, Hannah Dodd, Cassie Dodd, Katie Dodd, Matthew Dodd, T.J. Dodd and Kimberly Dodd. Visitation will be held 9 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday with a 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery, South Portland. Those desiring may make donations in Patricia's name to Barbara Bush Children's Hospital 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, Maine 04101.Online condolences may be expressed below.
