Dear Dennis, Wayne and Steve, I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and all your family members as you struggle to make it through this difficult time. The Cooks were our closest neighbors when we first moved to Wilson Street on Munjoy Hill. I have many fond memories of your mom. She was like a mother to all the kids on the Hill — always looking out for us. I remember seeing her play softball for Fairchild Semiconductor at Kiley Field and relaxing on your back porch in the summer. She always waited on me and my wife whenever we went to Rudy’s Lunch for a good meal. Farewell Mrs. Cook. May God rest your soul.Sincerely,Rick Wright
