Dear Marianne, Marie, Andrea, Chuck, and family, I am very sorry for your loss. It is certainly God’s gain. I was so privileged to be one of her caregivers in 2012 and 2013. Your mom blessed me greatly. I enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood, walks at Bug Light, Portland Headlight. I enjoyed so much sitting with her on her swing on the porch, enjoying the beauty of her property. I enjoyed our trips to Red’s to get an ice cream. Your mom and I had a lot in common. We shared a secretarial background and enjoyed chatting about that. When I heard she knew how to play the piano, I jumped at the chance to bring my keyboard and encouraged her to play for me. I was blessed beyond words when she would play for a few minutes. I also enjoyed watching mass with her. She thought it was neat when I said I was going to take notes on the sermon. Jennie was so thoughtful, caring, and giving. Lastly, I was so touched regarding how much she loved her family and how proud she was of everyone. What a very special lady she was! Thank you so much for allowing me to care for her for the time I did. I pray now our greatest comforter of all, Jesus Christ, will truly comfort you and give you His peace that passes all understanding.
