Dear Fred and family,May your days ahead be filled with family and friends, as you grieve the death of your wife, the mother of your children and grandmother to theirs. She was a lovely woman, whom I met through Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Presque Isle. She smiled often and was a great nurse. Blessings to all of you, as you retrieve your wonderful memories from your treasure trove.

I was so sorry to hear of Tena’s passing. She and Fred have been friends most of our adult lives. She and my first wife Germaine were sorority sisters and became close friends, along with Germaine’s sister Flo, a fellow nurse. Deepest condolences for all of us in the Ladner Family.

Dear Fred, I am so sorry for Tena’s passing. I am her first cousin. My father, her Uncle Bill, and her mother, Aunt Jenny, were brother and sister. I wish I had known that she lived in Scarborough because I would have tried to visit when I went home to Auburn. I live in Dyer Brook now. I wish I had known about her funeral sooner because I would have tried to attend her funeral. It has been a long time since I have seen Tena, but I remember how sweet she was when I last saw her in Presque Isle for Shirley’s funeral. I do remember when we were kids, and we would visit at Aunt Jenny’s home. Blessings to you, Karen, Daniel and Joseph. Love, Barbara Nolan Burton
