Portland - James "Jimmy" D. Tetrault, Jr., 41, died on February 10, 2019. Jimmy was born on May 13, 1977, in Portland, the son of James D. and Nancy (McElwreath) Tetrault. He grew up in Portland, attended local schools, and graduated from Cheverus High School in the Class of 1995. Jimmy met Michelle Bailargeon when they worked together for Delta Airlines and they married on November 14, 2001. Jimmy played football while at Cheverus High School and continued to be a fan of football after graduating. He was a Notre Dame fan and took two trips to see their games. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. Above all he loved spending time with his kids, Patrick and Emily. Jimmy was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his aunt, Kathie; and two uncles, Terry and John Tetrault. He will be greatly missed by his wife and two children, Michelle Tetrault, Patrick and Emily Tetrault all of Portland; parents, Jim Tetrault and Nancy Tetrault of Portland; a sister, Megan Tetrault and her son, Geno of South Portland; in laws, John and Toni Bailargeon of MA. Visiting hours will be held on from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, February, 14, at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home at 9:15AM on Friday, February 15, followed by a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street, Portland. A reception will follow at Bruno's Restaurant, Portland.
