Mary E. Dinsmore

Portland - Mary E. Dinsmore, 68, of 100 State Street, passed away June 14, 2019 at Mercy Hospital. Born in Portland, Mary was the daughter of Thomas and Yvonne (Thomas) Goughnour. She was raised in Cumberland and graduated from Greely High School in 1969. Throughout the years, Mary became known as a happy go lucky and outspoken person. She loved the other residents of 100 State Street and considered them her second family, especially her best friend, Glenny Mancini. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to Foxwoods, but most of all, her greatest joy was her bird named Dusty. Mary is predeceased by her father, Thomas Goughnour; brother, Raymond Goughnour. She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Richardson of Portland; brothers, Thomas Goughnour and wife Lillian of Portland and Richard Lowe of Gray. There will be no public ceremony. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home of Portland.
