Saco- Kenny "Bam Bam" Butterfield, 52, passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home "upta camp", where he loved to be, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, of natural causes.
Kenny was born in San Manuel, Arizona on September 3, 1968 the son of the late Gregory L. Butterfield and Linda M. (Pillsbury) Lang.
He has worked in the construction business for most of his life and was a devoted employee of PM Construction for the past 22 years.
On November 9, 2002, Kenny married the love of his life Mona Vacca in South Portland. Together they shared many happy years and great memories.
Kenny was a kind soul with a heart of gold who will be remembered most by his huge bear hugs. He will be forever missed by his family and friends, especially his little camp buddy Cayson who loved his Bam Bam.
He loved to cook, watch football, sit by a roaring fire at camp and ride around in his golf cart with Wilson blasting his favorite music. He was a raging Steelers fan always and forever.
Kenny's prized possession was his 66 Classic Harley Davidson, but his greatest love of all was his wife Mona, whom he always referred to as either "my babydoll" or "my beautiful bride"
Kenny was predeceased by a sister, Brandy Butterfield. He is survived by his wife, Mona Butterfield of Saco; a daughter, Christina Butterfield of Saco; two sons, Tyson Butterfield of Cumberland, and Damion Butterfield of Saco; a sister, Kimberly and her husband Thomas Campobasso of Dayton; a brother, Randy and his wife, Rebecca Butterfield of New Castle; three grandchildren, Breanna Spencer, Joey and Abram Butterfield all of Saco; stepfather, Calvin Lang of Saco; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Biddeford Eagles Club, 57 Birch Street, Biddeford, Me from 2 to 6 PM.
