Laurie was one of a kind. She was a devoted wife, mother and most of all MeMe. She was known for her spitfire, life of the party attitude, sense of humor and a laugh that you could feel in your soul. She loved with her whole heart and would do anything for her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, Elaine Philbrick; and aunt, Carol Daniels. Laurie is survived by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Frank Fowler; her daughter, Jennifer Albert and husband Andre Albert; and her pride and joy granddaughters, Nola and Roslyn; cousin, Carol Ann Crager; the Fowler Family, and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
The family would like to thank the devoted care givers at the Maine Medical Center, including the doctors and nurses for providing such amazing care and support.
There will be a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.
With her beautiful face, and laughter
My heart goes out to Frank Jen and the rest of the family. We have deeply lost a strong bright light.
We meet in Redbank are daughters play together. She work at my son day care. She was a great loyal friend.

Friends forever
Rest dearest Laurie. The Angels have called you by name and lifted you to a place of comfort, free of pain. May God’s breath keep you eternally warm. The care and laughter you joyfully shared with us is now shared in the heavens. It will endure forever in the hearts of those who loved you.
I’m so very sorry to hear of Laurie’s passing. My heart breaks for her family. Knowing she won’t be calling me to “shoot the shit” here & there, is very saddening to me. She was a spitfire who had a contagious laugh that I will miss greatly, RIP my dearest Laurie.
Love Always, Robin
Laurie, I will never forget. I love you till we meet again.
