My deepest sympathies to the Hildreth family. Mike was a great buddy and I cherish the memories we had together at NYA. This was very sad news. RIP Hildo.
Mike lit up every room with his smile and laugh. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family and loved ones.
Michael was a kind, gentle man who loved his family dearly. He was great fun, always up for a game, any game.
The world is poorer for his absence.
Michael “saved” my daughter from a huge (tiny really) scorpion on our first evening in a Tuscan villa.
His humility.
His kindness.
Micheal loved his family dearly.
I love you like a son.
Thank you for being in my life.
Humble, gentle, kind.
A sweet man, he loved his family – his parents, siblings, extended family, and most especially his children Emma and Jack.

Hildo (as we knew him) was a very close friend of our son Mike. He spent a lot of time at our house and we thought a lot of him.
Mike, you were a great human being who loved helping others. You were generous in spirit, and your smile would light up a room. Your infectious laugh & great sense of humor is missed by me. My deepest condolences to the family in this difficult time.
Although Mike and I have not been I contact for over 35 years we were close friends in our youth. This news broke my heart.Mike and his wonderful parents were such kind people and I have many memories of their kind and generous family.
Godspeed my friend
Mike. He was a GREAT guy. Funny, warm. He was welcoming and such a kind soul. His smile would light up the room. We would have short chit chats about cornhole partnah! Always a good time. We would have long conversations about life. Things weren’t the best, but He cared a lot about people. He loved his kids. We loved him. A second family at the AMVETS. He will be so missed. He was great with my Emma. She loved him. She learned about fun and MONEY. I will continue to teach her to be carefree, to be happy, that money isn’t everything, and no matter what life throws at you to just do your best. We love you Mike. ♥️
We worked at TD Bank together. He was such a laidback, funny, and generous human.
Mike was a warm, wonderful person. We didn’t see him often but when we did he was always genuinely happy to see us, always asking about how WE were doing, and how our girls were doing (he always remembered their names). So sad to hear of his passing. Our hearts go out to his family.
