Bruce Crawford Crouch

Brunswick- Bruce C. Crouch, 74, of Sunnybrook Village, Bath Road, died peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick following a brief illness.
Bruce was born in Topsham, Maine on August 4, 1943 the son of the late Franklin M. and Lucy B. (White) Crouch. He graduated from Glenbard West High School in Illinois in the class 1961. He then went on to further his studies by attending Arizona State University, and then earned his Merchant Marine license in 1967.
Over his life, Bruce has worked several different jobs, including Stowe Travel Agency in Brunswick, ME, Container Corporation of America in Carol Stream, IL, College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL, and then retired from the security department at Maine Medical Center in the early 2000's. Bruce spent many years wintering on the Island of Grenada and summers in Maine. He was a collector of stamps and coins, an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling. His primary interest was photography, a hobby which he had perfected over the years capturing beautiful images of many places and people, including wonderful portraits of his family.
Bruce is survived by four sisters, Ellen & Terrence Reed of Brunswick, Deborah Ramirez of AZ, Julia & Kevin Conroy of NH, and Mari Crouch of IL; four brothers; Rupert Crouch of OH, Richard and Patty Crouch of GA, David and Lisa Crouch of MO, and John and Roseanne Crouch of NJ; many nieces and nephews.

Was just thinking of what a remarkable man Bruce Crouch was. I met him at Maine Medical Center when I was in my 20’s. He was a valet Parker/ security. Salt of the earth. Do anything for anyone type of guy.
