Mary C. Hopeck

Portland- Mary C. Hopeck, 87, of 75 State Street died peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with her loving family by her side. Mary lived her entire life in Brooklyn, New York and will return there to be buried beside her loved husband Bernard. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bernard J. Hopeck in 1978. She is survived by her son, John and his wife MaryLynn Hopeck of Cape Elizabeth, ME; a sister, Catherine Dwyer of Manhatten, NY; two step grandchildren, Sarah and Hope Coleman; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 9:00am at the Good Shepard Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, New York. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME.
