I knew Dick from A.W. Hastings, where he (and I) reported to my Dad, John Harrison. I remember Dick as a quiet, polite man with a big smile and a black briefcase. He used to walk from Hastings on Commercial St. back and forth to the Ferry. However, my greatest memory and gratitude for Dick is that he taught me a lot about business. I was only 14 when I started working in the office that was 50 years ago! Oh, my! I’m so happy for him to read about his full and peaceful life since those days. I do remember him mentioning Jacqueline and Arundel, and I think he had a special cat at the time. Best of thoughts and prayers for Dick and those close to him. Dear Jacqueline and others who knew and loved Dick. He was my neighbor and friend. Together we loved animals. Tippy and Moonstone are buried in his yard. I will always remember Dick with great respect and caring. He was a good person, artistic, intelligent, and kind. He loved his books, cooking, antipasto, flowers and plants. He was truly a man of many qualities. Linda Chene 650 Virginia Street, Vallejo, Ca 94590
