GORHAM - Christine M. Roberts, 84, died July 16, 2012 at the Gorham House. She was born June 27, 1928 in Camden, Maine, the daughter of Luther and Lena (Mitchell) Goodman. She graduated from Camden High School in 1945. During her high school years she played basketball and softball and loved to ski with her friends. As an adult, Christine was known for her beautiful gardens and, according to her grandson, the best apple pie in the world. She loved the ocean, especially summer days spent at Ducktrap with her children and annual trips to Cape Hatteras. She was a passionate Red Sox fan, rooting for them on television and at Fenway Park. Christine resided at Gorham House for the last 10 years where she was known for bright smile and happy disposition. Her family would like to thank the staff at Gorham House for the quality of care and love they gave to her over the years. She was predeceased by husband Albert Roberts in 1992 and her brother Kenneth Goodman in 2011. Christine is survived by her brother James Goodman; daughters, Kate Rotroff, Nancy Peabbles and Kristin Odsather as well as five grandchildren, Peter, Andrew, Leah, Sophie, and Alec and 4 great grandchildren, Andrew, Alexa, Jesse and Mina.
