  2. I had the pleasure of knowing Bob for over twenty years. I delivered mail to his home on Pine Street. I always enjoyed debating current issues with him, whether it was politics, taxes or any other topic, he always had an opinion ready. Being well read and with a photographic memory sometimes made for a challenging debate, but always an interesting one. My condolences to his family, he spoke of his sons often and with great fondness.
    Rest in peace Bob!

  3. I am so sad to hear of this news. I had been wanting to get back in touch with Bob. For the time I had spent with him, I really enjoyed our conversations. We talked about everything from education to life’s lessons. He was a kind, caring, and thoughtful man. He also was very strong minded and forward. He was particular about his meals and belongings. I recall how particular he was about his plants being watered. He enjoyed his circle of friends and neighbors. He really enjoyed thought provoking conversations with people. He was accepting of different points of view and even offered advice. I remember helping him get his lamp fixed. It was an older lamp, but he really loved it. It was important to him to have it fixed. He was so happy when it came back just like new. I also recall his love for children especially having been a teacher. I wish I had kept in touch with him. I have and will continue to think of him often. He has had an impact on my life. Rest in peace Bob. -Angela
