Annie C Cavallaro

Portland - Annie C. Cavallaro, 91, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Residence. Born in Portland on July 26, 1926, Annie was the daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine (Fasulo) Cavallaro. She attended Portland Schools and was a devout communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. One of the things she enjoyed the most was visiting with her sisters on Wednesday afternoons at Tony's Donuts. Annie was a very special lady with a strong faith and a love for all of her family. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette DiPaolo, Camilla Jensen, Julia Rys and Lucy Fournier. She is survived by her brother, Frank Cavallaro and wife Donna of Venice, FL; sister, Mary Lou Guerra and husband Ralph of Portsmouth, NH; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Rehabilitation, especially Rachel Lubier, for the compassionate and loving care Annie received. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at 9AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 for prayers at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, followed by a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 72 Federal Street, Portland. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Annie's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O.
