Falmouth- Theresa McBrady, 54, our family angel, left us on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born October 28, 1963 in Portland, Maine to James A. McBrady and Mary Jane (Kilmartin) McBrady. Nothing was more important to Theresa then loving and enjoying her family. She looked forward to spending every summer at her camp in Old Orchard Beach. Dancing, motorcycle rides, country music and parties always brought a smile to her face. Theresa's love for bright colors was evident in all her art. She was an accomplished artist, with many framed originals gracing the walls of her loved ones. Her involvement in Special Olympics during her younger years spurred a lifelong love of sports. She was passionate about Falmouth High School Boys Basketball. Theresa was their 'good luck charm' and enjoyed supporting the team for more than 20 seasons. The family wishes to acknowledge with much gratitude The Mooring "family", where she resided the last few months of her life. Theresa is now reunited with her father, James A. McBrady Sr.; twin sisters, Elizabeth and Ethel McBrady. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane McBrady of Falmouth; three sisters, Susan and her husband James Keeley of Falmouth, Mary Michelle McBrady of MA, and Anne McBrady of Old Orchard Beach; five brothers, James Jr."Gus" and his wife Helen McBrady of Yarmouth, Edward McBrady of Scarborough, Stephen and his wife Elizabeth McBrady of Scarborough, Patrick and his wife Angela McBrady of Scarborough, Charles McBrady of Falmouth; countless nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:00am at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 266 Foreside Road, Falmouth, Maine. 1. Sending Big Love & healing thoughts to everyone in Theresa’s family. As a musical performer for the residents at The Mooring, I had several opportunities to share my music with Theresa. The joy of singing for her was quadrupled when she joined me in singing Christmas Carols and also one of her favorites, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”… the bliss on her face & her clear pitch perfect high notes took my breath away. I will miss seeing her & singing with her when I next perform at The Mooring. I feel lucky to have had those special moments with her. Rest in Peace Theresa… I can only imagine how many hearts you have touched along the way.

  2. Steve, Charlie, and family, so sorry for your loss. I remember my father telling me about Theresa’s 21st birthday party that your father threw for her. He said it was a beautiful event and that your dad gave her a beautiful diamond ring! She was lucky to have such a close and loving family! Lucky woman and lucky family!

  3. My deepest sympathy to your family. Theresa was such a sweetheart to know an work with at Woodford’s Adult Center on Preble Street in Portland back in the 1990’s. I was the Art instructor for them for a few years, until they closed and worked with just the younger children.
I remember Theresa coming in every Friday morning for ART Class, where we would paint, weave, sculpt, print and she loved it. Her sense of colors and cheerfulness were evident in her artworks.
I was blessed to have known her and worked with her for that time.
    Sincerely, Diane Noble
