  1. Dear Family of Mary Catherine Ragan, I send my sympathy to you as you say Au Revoir to one so dear. She was a beautiful lady of faith!

  2. Mary Catherine was the last of our elders of “the clan” as I have known it. She is our treasured historian, storyteller, travel guide, family connector and glue spanning decades of Irish descendants…she was my greatest comfort since my Mom passed. She brought me into a new family, her family! I shall miss her beyond words.
To all my cousins, her friends and caregivers who lost her too, I say, in her words…
“May God Bless you and keep you in His care!” Mary Catherine Ragan

  4. We, the Mission Sisters of the Holy Spirit, extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mary Catherine. Mary Catherine was an interesting lady with a deep faith, a wealth of knowledge and a loving and caring heart. We are so appreciative of the love and care which she, and so man of you showered upon our Sr. Anne while she was in Maine. We are forever grateful. We always felt blessed when we were visiting in Maine. Thank you, Mary Catherine for your spirit of hospitality. You are in our hearts and prayers. Sisters, Elaine, Margo and Mary Lou.

    – Sr. Mary Lou Owczarzak

  5. Miss Ragan, as she was affectionately called.,was the best teacher we had at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Many of us could not have made it to graduation without her fierce way to make you want to learn. We never truly apprecitaed her vast knowledge until we got out in the work force. She will be fondly remembered by many of her former Nursing students. Our sympathies to her family and know she was loved and will be missed by many.

    – Nola J. Chaisson RN
