Marjory H. Leonard, 52, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn. Marjory Leonard was born to Gale Petersen and Burnham Perry on June 24, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marjory grew up in Portland, ME and attended Portland Schools and made many friends. Marjory was very thoughtful, compassionate and giving to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with family, collecting photos, scratching lottery tickets, playing card games, a good cup of Dunkin Doughnuts coffee and chatting with friends and family on Facebook. She also had a teddy bear collection of over 2000 bears! Marjory and her mom spent a lot of time chatting, they were very close and the best of friends. Her moms passing left her feeling incredibly lost and sad. Marjory is pre-deceased by her mother Gale Petersen Heald, father Burnham Perry and older sister Laurie May Drinkwater. Her husband of 16 years Walter Tibbets Jr. resides in Oxford, ME. Her son Kevin Leonard and his wife Stephanie of New London, Ct. Step daughter Elaine Leonard of Portland, ME. She has two brothers Richard Varney in South Portland, ME and Linwood Cordwell in Florida. Her sisters Jeannie Jones in Windham and Kate Lake in Casco, ME. Marjory absolutely adored her grandchildren Kayda, Syrah, Kevin and Stephen. Marjory was a loyal loving sister and we shared a lifetime of memories which I shall cherish for the rest of my life. There are not words to describe the emptiness in my heart with the understanding that we will never speak or hug each other again in this lifetime, but knowing she is no longer suffering and now in the loving presence of our savior Jesus Christ, my mother and sister Laurie I can rest easy until that one fine day were all together again. Respectfully, with all my love. Richard Varney Rest in Peace Marjory Leonard. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
